However much of the index volume 29 is riddled with dropouts, making many index entries unusable, and for this reason I cannot give this item the highest rating.

On the main page listing for this work, the volumes are not identified unless you mouse over one, and they are not in order. The http directory listing is a better way to access them. An unknown number of content pages appear to be from from a later edition, presumably 12th or 13th. This is not a significant problem since the content and pagination of those editions is virtually identical to that of the 11th edition, except for slight updating: for example, in volume 18, on page file page , the entry for John Pierpont Morgan gives as his date of death, which was after the publication of the 11th edition.
