It is up to the Printer Manufacturer as to what operating systems they support and supply drivers to for your model number.

The answer is still the same no matter what anyone else says. The manufacture will need to develop drivers for the OS so the printer can work. But when i am building it with SDk and using on other version of windows there is no probs at all. The content you requested has been removed. Ask a question.

Download the Driverpacks you want for XP. Packs like Webcam or Bluetooth are less important and 3rd party meaning they are not officially tested and could cause problems. An important note is these days the DriverPacks are only distributed as torrents so you will need either a torrent client or use something like Bitlet which allows you download torrents through your web browser.

Packs are always well seeded and should download quickly. If you want to reduce space and only include one set of drivers for your own PC for instance, download the Graphics pack which contains the required drivers.

A similar thing applies to Sound packs. Do not unpack them as they are 7z archives. It will then identify the operating system inside the folder.

Then manually search each manufacturer's website for XP drivers. I guess MS felt at some point they need to draw the line on how long they'll support each OS. Given the poor rollout of Vista, and the driver problems encountered, I personally feel they'd be better offering XP indefinitely.

I always felt if people try to pay you money for a product let them. That is what doesn't make sense to me. I guess that's why I'm not a rich man. NO financial sense. Hi, sorry i had to run pick up my kids, Thank you all for your help. I simply dont have a clue. Just like you guys i'm trying to help. Well, that was my point. If the man wanted an XP machine, he should have bought an XP machine. As I said, there are plenty of those on the market. But I guess, this is water under the bridge.

It is just a general comment because I see those poor guys every day trying to retrofit XP onto a Vista machine - many times without success. I draw your attention to this thread in case it is only a problem of some XP programs that do not run on Vista.

Yes WHS you are right, but the thing is that we are aboard the ship now, and we can not go back
