Norton internet security 2011 network security map

I was very happy with it. It's removal is obviously about money, as the product is being slimmed and dumbed down with every release to reach a lowest common denominator between cost to make and number of features acceptable to the majority of the user demographic.

On a partially related topic. The new layout for the main console of is terrible. It increased the number of clicks it takes to reach information, relative to the previous release. I thought Symantec was a big corporation and would know something about ergonomics. I think they just got the two mixed up, that's all. Yeah, I believe that's a true statement Krusty. This is another vote to bring back the Network Security Map! The Network Security Map was great! I used it all the time and it was an important part of my network security! Why would you take it away in the first place?? Listen to your customers, Norton. Now, regarding its abrupt and unheralded removal with this latest version of NIS by the way, brilliant start to this automatic version update feature here , I wonder if it had anything to do with their capturing of too many crash reports when using the feature.
